Associate Attorney

Marie Sussenbach represents individuals and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases all across Georgia. She brings over a decade of legal experience to her practice and plays a key role in litigation strategy, case development, and firm operations at Brandon Smith Law. As the firm’s first hire in 2021, she has become a leader within the firm and the practice.

Her experience in defense litigation turned Plaintiff’s attorney gives her a strategic and well-rounded approach to complex cases. Driven by a genuine desire to help others, Marie is committed to guiding families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She values the trust her clients place in her and approaches each case with compassion, clarity, and purpose.

Her work is grounded in a faith-driven perspective and a belief that meaningful advocacy makes a lasting difference. She ensures her clients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the entire process.

Outside of work, Marie spends her time with her husband and two children, loves cheering on the Atlanta Braves and competing in the Annual Savage Race.
